The problem

Your firewall can't stop a click.

Antivirus, MFA and backups protect your systems. Your people are the last line of defense, and attackers know tax offices are busiest, and most rushed, from January to April.

A template policy that says "staff are trained" isn't the same as a team that actually recognizes a fake login page.

1. One email gets throughIt looks like your software vendor, a client or the IRS.
2. One person clicksDuring a 12-hour day in March, it only takes once.
3. Client data is exposedIRS reporting, client notices, possible FTC notice, and your reputation.
Or: they recognize it and report itThat's what training and simulations build.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. CT, in English or Spanish.

Is security training actually required for tax preparers?
Paid tax preparers are covered by the FTC Safeguards Rule. Section 314.4(e)(1) requires providing your personnel with security awareness training that is updated as needed to reflect the risks in your risk assessment. The IRS also covers employee training in Publications 4557 and 5708. This is general information, not legal advice.
I'm a solo preparer. Do I need this?
Yes. The rule applies to you as the person handling client data. Enroll just yourself for $199, and add seasonal staff when you hire them.
What's a phishing simulation?
A safe test email that looks like a real attack. If someone clicks, nothing bad happens. They see a short lesson, and you see where your team needs more training.
Do I have to manage the platform?
No. We enroll your users, send reminders, run the simulations and send you the completion reports.
Is support available in Spanish?
Yes. Our team supports you in English or Spanish by phone and email.
Does training make my office compliant?
Training covers one required element. The Safeguards Rule also requires a written plan (WISP), a Qualified Individual, safeguards like MFA and encryption, and an incident response plan. Our Custom WISP and IT Security Assessment help with those.
What's your refund policy?
All sales are final upon purchase. If something goes wrong, call (979) 710-3386 or email info@at4tp.com and we'll make it right.
